Testing and Quality Control

The e.m.e.e bag complies with ISO 83717:2015.

The e.m.e.e bag has been independently tested to ensure that the child resistant lock satisfies ISO 8317:2915 'Child-resistant packaging - Requirements and testing procedures for reclosable packages'

Testing was conducted by accredited testing laboratory Best Practice Consultants. To satisfy the requirements of ISO 8317:2015 a minimum of thirty (30) children between the ages of 3 years 6 months (42 months) and 4 years 3 months (51 months) are required to be tested and also 100 senior adults are required to be tested. The Best Practice Consultants study found that with regard to the e.m.e.e bag no child could open the lock within the allocated ten minutes time stipulated in ISO 8317:2015 whereas all 100 adults could open the bag in less than 1 minute.
